A Negroni with a mouthfeel I can get behind. So many have become viscous little numbers of late, so this was a treat. No ice, I’m not mourning it. Ice is the devils work. I would, however, have liked the glass properly frozen to compensate. Temperature matters. The seductive mystery around the menu offering, 4 negronis, no explanations. I love a surprise but menu paralysis, less so. No garnish, don’t care. A sad little wedge of orange does not, in my world, make or break a Negroni. Size matters and this was spot on, enough to feel like a proper drink, not an endurance event. Overall, a confident, considered, and refreshing drink.
