The menu description “chocolate bitter” might give some drinkers a pause, but the chocolate influence is subtle. It adds a mildly deeper, fuller/bodied character than the classic negroni profile. Garnish was a nearly cut citrus rind with a twist that added a touch of refinement. Glassware had a retro feel which suited the drink and venue well. Criticism was the ice, which melted too quickly. It was an exceptionally hot evening in London… forgiven … I enjoy the drinks at Renegade and this one I would happily order again.
